In the production of tactical and utility knives, we rely on materials that combine exceptional mechanical strength with resistance to environmental factors. That’s why our models – Atrax Scourge, Rogue, Plague, and Noxious – are equipped with high-performance handle scales made of G10 and Micarta, sourced from trusted U.S.-based suppliers.
G10 is a laminate made from fiberglass cloth impregnated with epoxy resin and compressed under high pressure and temperature. It offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, low water absorption (below 0.1%), chemical and thermal resistance (up to ~150°C), and outstanding dimensional stability. It is the ideal material for handles designed for hard use and tactical environments – such as the Atrax Scourge or Plague.

Micarta, produced in a similar process, uses natural fiber layers – typically canvas, linen, paper, or jute – impregnated with phenolic resin. Once pressed and cured, the result is a tough, grippy material that performs especially well in wet conditions or during bare-handed use. Micarta is featured in models like the Rogue, where user comfort and a more organic feel are prioritized.
Our standard selection includes military-inspired color schemes such as black, olive drab (OD green), and dark brown (Coyote, FDE) – chosen for their low visibility and tactical aesthetic. Upon request, we also offer custom colors, including high-visibility options (e.g., safety orange, training blue) and specialty textures or patterns (camouflage, liner layers, hex textures).

With precision CNC machining and meticulous hand-finishing, each handle is perfectly fitted to the steel tang, delivering a secure grip, control, and high impact resistance. G10 and Micarta are the materials of choice for professionals – both in civilian and military applications.
