A well-made sheath still needs the right attachment. Where the knife sits, how much room the mounting takes up and whether you use a belt all influence the choice. Our DCC selection offers four starting points.

Start with your carry position
First decide how you want the sheath to sit. Then check the space available for the clip and the mounting points on the sheath. A longer clip is not automatically a better choice, and a smaller clip is useful only if the complete setup remains stable.

Which DCC model should you consider?
| Model | Starting point | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Mod 1 | Belt carry | Belt dimensions and fixed mounting spacing |
| Mod 2.1U | Adjustable mounting in a shorter body | Slot alignment and available adjustment |
| Mod 5.1U | Adjustable mounting with a longer body | Clearance along the sheath |
| Mod 3 Mini | Minimal mounting footprint | Stability around its single mounting point |

Check the whole assembly
Before choosing a clip, look at the sheath's hole layout, material thickness and surrounding shape. The screws must suit the assembled thickness and must not contact the blade. After installation, check that the sheath stays attached when the knife is removed and that the clip does not interfere with safe handling.
Do not assume that a clip fits every sheath simply because one hole lines up. If the assembly rotates, binds or loosens, the mounting needs to be reassessed.

What comes with the clip?
Each product is sold as one clip. Mounting hardware is not included with the clip. Knives and sheaths shown in the photographs are not included. Product pages list the dimensions and finish for each model so you can compare the options before ordering.
